Description: In the summer of 2024, the Center for African Studies at Howard University in collaboration with Princeton University will host a 4 day hybrid institute to introduce Ge’ez manuscripts cataloged in PEMM (The Princeton Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Egyptian Miracles of Mary database); The PEMM database includes thousands of manuscript paintings and stories about Mary.
